Come and see the Casttle farm of Macon,
built by the Ironmaster Nicaise Poschet (1578-1631)

This stone and quarry-stone building constitutes an architectural jewel nestling in a green setting dominating the Helpe River, in the center of Macon, near a 15th century linden tree.

The Farm-Castle of Macon was saved and restored into fourteen very comfortable self-catering holiday apartments and two conference rooms. This has been financed by the European Union within the framework of the "Objective 1 - Phasing Out", and by the Walloon Region through the State Commission for Tourism.

For a week-end or for several days, with your family or your friends, you can rest and recharge your batteries in the calm and quietness of the nearby countryside. You are most welcome in this region which offers you a wide range of activities: more than 100 km of sign-posted footpaths, excellent restaurants, region's products, local museums, history, sport and many other reasons to come and stay here.

In addition to the apartments, we also have rooms of various sizes for your family day or other kind of activities. if you come here to work, we offer two rooms of different size ready to welcome you for your conferences, seminaries, incentives, company meeting. Our structure allows you to organise seminarie or any other event.

You have many opportunities to stretch your legs between two working sessions or take a quiet afternoon, far from noisy cities. Feel free to contact us for any further information.

For your holidays or for a working day, come and live the castle life. You won't be disappointed!
